Wisconsin Democrats may not be going home just yet, but they do want to meet with Governor Scott Walker to talk about his anti-union bill. And according to a letter delivered to the governor and the Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, they want to do it on the Wisconsin-Illinois border. In the letter, Democratic Sen. Mark Miller asks the Republican leaders to meet "as soon as possible to resume negotiations” on the bill, and says that the 14 Democrats now hiding in Illinois “remain ready and willing to find a reasonable compromise.”
