Wyoming’s state legislative committee is considering ending the death penalty and making firing squads the default alternative to executions when lethal injection is not possible. The draft bills likely won’t win approval in the Joint Judiciary Interim Committee on Sept. 11, but the discussion might persuade lawmakers to sponsor the bill in 2015.
