He’s a 17-year-old who sold his startup for millions. What have you done? British whiz kid Nick D’Aloisio has sold his news app Summly to Yahoo for a reported $30 million. Summly essentially condenses content on a smartphone, making it easier to scroll. D’Aloiso started working on the app when he was 15 and released it for the iPhone only four months ago. He’ll work from Yahoo’s London office as the company’s youngest employee. The 17-year-old said that “if you have a good idea, or you think there’s a gap in the market, just go out and launch it.” He’s looking at you.
