After weeks of relative quiet, violence in Yemen spilled over into a second day on Monday, with government snipers killing more than 50 people, including one child, at a protester camp in Sana. The crackdown began Sunday, when government forces killed 26 people as they marched on the presidential palace. According to the BBC, government forces are also now shelling areas held by soldiers loyal to the protesters.
