Can Egypt’s mood catch on in Yemen? Monday saw its fourth consecutive day of unrest in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, although demonstrations so far haven't come anywhere near the size of those in Egypt. Thousands of people gathered at Sanaa University, and there were violent clashes with pro-government demonstrators wielding stones and clubs. For the first time, members of Yemen’s Lawyers Syndicate joined the demonstrations. On Sunday, police broke up protesters’ march on the presidential palace. Yemen’s president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, has already announced that he will not seek reelection in 2013.
