Zimmerman Charges Dropped

On Wednesday, domestic violence charges against George Zimmerman were dropped after his girlfriend said in a court filing that she wished to recant allegations he pointed a shotgun at her face. According to the state attorney, the woman's decision not to cooperate along with a lack of evidence from the November event in Florida made any prosecution improbable. Zimmerman was acquitted of killing teenager Trayvon Martin this past summer, and was later arrested when his wife police during an allegedly violent outburst.
